About the Role Residential Faculty in Operations and Data Analytics within the School of Business will teach in their areas of expertise, maintain curriculum integrity, and align instruction with Liberty University's mission and student experience. They may engage in curriculum development for residential and distance education as needed and participate in research or scholarship as required by their college. The role emphasizes effective teaching, student engagement, and service to the academic discipline.

What You'll Do

  • Teach material from the approved curriculum in accordance with an assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction.
  • Assist students in achieving completion of objectives and learning outcomes.
  • Provide regular and timely feedback to students.
  • Participate in school retention initiatives by maintaining productive contact with students and assisting absent students.
  • Advise students in matters related to academics, attendance, and behaviors.
  • Motivate students to participate in all aspects of the educational process actively.
  • Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies.
  • Maintain university standards regarding course activity, emails, grading, and communication with residential chair and students.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • Ability to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Doctorate or PhD in Business Analytics or a related field. To teach at the undergraduate level, one will need either a doctorate or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Business Analytics or a related field.
  • Additional related fields we will consider: Data Science, Data Analytics.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with curriculum development in residential and distance education environments.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $72,000.00 - $115,000.00 USD per year. The position may be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and tuition assistance.
