Job title: Residential Adjunct Faculty (Marketing) – School of Business
About the Role Liberty University seeks a Residential Adjunct Faculty member in Marketing to teach courses within the School of Business on campus in Lynchburg, VA. This part-time teaching role supports the university's mission to Train Champions for Christ by delivering instruction aligned with a biblically informed Christian worldview.
What You'll Do
- Teach material from the approved curriculum in accordance with an assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction.
- Assist students in achieving completion of objectives and learning outcomes.
- Provide regular and timely feedback to students.
- Participate in school retention initiatives by maintaining productive contact with students and by getting in touch with and helping absent students.
- Advise students in matters related to academics, attendance, and behaviors.
- Motivate students to participate in all aspects of the educational process actively.
- Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies.
- Maintain university standards regarding course activity, emails, grading, and communication with residential chair and students.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to teach at Undergraduate, Master's or Doctoral level. To teach at the Doctoral level, one will need to possess a conferred terminal degree in Marketing.
- To teach at the Master’s or undergraduate level one will need to have a doctorate or a master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Marketing or a related field.
- Additional related fields we will consider: Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, Sales and Promotion, Professional Sales Management.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, Sales and Promotion, or Professional Sales Management is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Courses are typically paid at $800 per load hour.
