About the Role Liberty University seeks a part-time Residential Adjunct Faculty member to teach Financial Planning in the School of Business. The role involves delivering undergraduate coursework from the approved curriculum, supporting student learning, and contributing to retention and advising efforts on-site in Lynchburg, VA, within a Christian worldview.
What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate courses using the approved curriculum and adhere to an assigned schedule to ensure student satisfaction.
- Assist students in achieving objectives and learning outcomes.
- Provide regular and timely feedback to students.
- Participate in school retention initiatives by maintaining productive contact with students and helping absent students.
- Advise students on academics, attendance, and behaviors.
- Motivate students to participate in all aspects of the educational process actively.
- Maintain and report student grades and attendance in accordance with university policies.
- Maintain university standards regarding course activity, emails, grading, and communication with the residential chair and students.
- Other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Ability to teach undergraduate-level courses in Finance or related fields, with a commitment to delivering instruction within a biblical worldview.
- Doctorate or master's degree with 18 graduate hours in Finance or a related field; additional related fields considered: Financial Management, Financial Modeling, Corporate Finance, Financial Planning.
- Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate level.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $800 per load hour (USD), hourly.
