About the Role The Resident Director is a 10-month, full-time live-in professional responsible for the overall management of two to four residence halls and the supervision of paraprofessional staff. The role partners with the Associate Director of Student Life and Housing to ensure the residential program remains current, effective, and aligned with institutional goals and student development outcomes. What You'll Do
- Serve in an emergency on-call duty rotation for residential communities housing approximately 1,180–1,485 students, including crisis response and coordination with campus and community resources.
- Supervise, recruit, select, train, and evaluate five to twenty paraprofessional staff members and desk assistants.
- Assess student concerns, provide appropriate support, and refer students to campus resources such as Counseling Services, Campus Police, and Health Services.
