About the Role The Resident Assistant (RA) at Regent Commons supports a living-learning community under the supervision of a Residence Director. The RA helps maintain an educational, policy-guided housing environment and represents student needs to university administration. This role emphasizes Christian values aligned with Regent University's core commitments. What You'll Do
- Work with residence hall staff to facilitate an environment within the residence hall community that promotes the educational experience of residential living.
- Articulate to residents the philosophy and policies of Residence Life and the University, and represent residents' needs to the administration.
- Collaborate with other staff to uphold building safety, policies, and student conduct expectations. What We're Looking For
- Directed by the Office of Residence Life to apply for the 2026-2027 academic year.
- Must be a professing Christian and complete/sign the Statement of Faith on the Regent University Employment Application.
- Prior experience living in a residence hall community.
- Must be a single sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student at the time of appointment.
- Enrolled for full-time credit hours and maintain at least a 3.0 GPA during tenure.
- If selected, cannot have disciplinary sanctions equal to or greater than Disciplinary Probation at any time during employment.
