Overview
Opportunity to join a lab team developing the next generation of cellular immunotherapies. We are looking for an exceptionally motivated individual with past mammalian cell culture lab experience to join our team in the lab of Dr. Eric Smith, Director of Translational Research, Immune Effector Cell Therapies at Dana Farber.
The group is focused on CAR T cell immunotherapy for cancer, taking projects from conception, transgene design, genetic engineering, through reduction to practice, in vitro and in vivo studies, and ultimately translation to the clinic. You will have opportunity to learn and execute molecular, cell biology and in vivo methods.
Dr. Smith is deeply committed to the success of each trainee that joins the lab. He believes that mentorship should be intentional, thought out, and personalized for each member of the group. He dedicates time to meet trainees' individual needs for scientific growth and pursuit of their career goals.
