The Raabe Laboratory at the Perelman School of Medicine, University of Pennsylvania, is seeking a highly motivated Research Specialist A/B to join our research program focused on liver disease, fibrosis, and regenerative medicine.
Job Description Summary
The work includes a variety of cutting-edge molecular and cell biologic techniques to investigate the role of senescence and other fibrosis related pathways in human liver derived organoids and primary human cells in the context of liver disease. Relevant diseases include viral infections and age related fibrotic liver diseases. This work will involve genome editing using CRISPR/Cas9 and siRNA techniques both in organoids /cells and in related mouse models - mostly performed by using lipid nanoparticles.
