About the Role We are seeking a Research and Development Engineer specializing in infrared technologies to join our imaging and sensor development team. The role focuses on designing, prototyping, testing, and integrating infrared sensing hardware and related software to advance our mission.
What You'll Do
- Design and analyze infrared sensing systems, detectors, and optics in collaboration with hardware and software teams.
- Build prototypes, run laboratory experiments, collect data, and develop test plans to validate performance.
- Support system integration, troubleshooting, and documentation for rapid iteration and production readiness.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Experience with infrared sensors, thermal imaging, detectors, or IR optics and related instrumentation.
- Strong hands-on lab skills, data analysis (e.g., MATLAB, Python), and troubleshooting abilities.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team and communicate results clearly.
