About the Role This role supports defined contribution plan participants by handling inquiries by phone and guiding them through distribution options, loan provisions, and eligibility status. Based in Tempe, AZ, you will work with a team to provide compliant, accurate participant servicing and related administrative tasks.
What You'll Do
- Respond to daily telephone inquiries and requests from defined contribution plan participants.
- Demonstrate appropriate call behaviors as outlined by the department.
- Assist participants with information about distribution options, loan provisions and eligibility status.
- Handle participant requests including electronic fund transfers, monthly benefits, rollovers, loans and tax forms.
- Follow established guidelines and identify and resolve routine problems.
- Use initiative for routine issues but refer more complex problems to supervisors/experts.
- Maintain compliance with risk management requirements.
- Process participant maintenance queues (address changes, tax elections, electronic deposit changes) accurately within guidelines.
- Facilitate administrative tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Knowledge of company products or client servicing; analytical and organizational skills to research inquiries and manage conflicting priorities and workflow; strong communication.
- Experience: Entry-level position with prior client service or related experience preferred.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future.
Nice to Have
- Prior client service experience is preferred; ability to handle multiple priorities and learn quickly.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $41,040 - $61,560 USD annually.
