Engineer who designs, sizes, installs and maintains solar PV, battery storage, inverter and backup-power systems for laboratories, hospitals and commercial customers. Survey customer sites and analyse load profiles, grid availability, power quality and earthing (0%) Size and design solar PV, battery storage, inverter, UPS and hybrid backup-power systems with single-line diagrams (0%) Prepare technical proposals, bills of materials and energy-yield and payback estimates for quotations (0%) Lead installation, testing and commissioning to NEC, IEC and manufacturer requirements (0%) Specify power conditioning, surge protection and earthing for sensitive laboratory and medical equipment (0%) Run preventive maintenance, performance monitoring and fault resolution on installed systems (0%) Supervise installation technicians and subcontractors and enforce electrical safety on site (0%) Keep design, commissioning and maintenance records complete against the customer's installed base (0%)
Requirements

B.Eng/B.Sc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Power Systems or Renewable Energy Engineering

3+ years designing and installing solar PV, battery storage or backup-power systems

Competence in PV and battery sizing, cable sizing, protection coordination and earthing design

Familiarity with design tools such as PVsyst, HOMER or equivalent, and with AutoCAD for single-line diagrams

Working knowledge of Nigerian Electricity Commission and NEMSA installation requirements

Strong electrical safety discipline and willingness to travel to sites across Nigeria
