About the Role Liberty University’s School of Business seeks multiple Remote Online Adjunct Doctoral Research Chairs (Committee Member) to guide doctoral candidates academically and spiritually within a biblically informed Christian worldview. The role supports Liberty’s mission of Training Champions for Christ by mentoring research and fostering personal spiritual formation while ensuring high scholarly standards.

What You'll Do

• Provide guidance to doctoral candidates to ensure methodologically sound research.
• Provide detailed feedback on qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
• Maintain ongoing communication with candidates to ensure compliance with school doctoral program handbooks and university policies.
• Support candidates in balancing academic progress with spiritual formation and individual differences.

What We're Looking For

• Preferred: established record of research evidenced by peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
• Preferred: capstone, dissertation, or thesis mentorship experience and experience teaching research methods online.
• Must have a conferred DBA or PhD in Business OR a PhD in Business Administration, Organization and Management, Organizational Behavior and Development, and Organizational Leadership from an institution accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized agency.
• Full doctrinal compatibility with Liberty University.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research.
• Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and online learning platforms; proven organizational skills; ability to complete assignments timely with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrated strengths in teaching and mentoring at the college level.

Nice to Have

• Experience mentoring doctoral candidates and teaching research methods in online/remote settings.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay rate: $800 per load hour (USD).
