Job title: Relief Operator - Manufacturing
About the Role Ball Corporation is seeking a Relief Operator in Production for its Belgrade facility. This role participates in and supports the factory's overall business plan and objectives, while upholding quality, safety, and environmental standards. You will play a key role in ensuring production processes run smoothly and safely.
What You'll Do
- Operate, control, adjust, maintain and care for can production machines and equipment to meet safety, quality, performance and reliability parameters.
- Monitor, analyze and record machine and process parameters with a focus on quality, scrap and efficiency according to the targets.
- Participate in regular and unscheduled maintenance of machines and equipment across the entire production process.
- Troubleshoot and fix machine stoppages, analyze causes and propose corrective actions to improve production and maintenance processes.
- Inform supervisors about any interventions that require stopping production or changing parameters, and notify when the intervention is complete.
- Report on your work in accordance with department procedures.
- Inform the next team about all events related to the production and maintenance process and note the actions taken.
- Provide support to all team members according to the direct supervisor's instructions.
- Regularly check the quality of the work performed.
- Regularly clean the space, machines and equipment in the work environment and maintain them according to hygiene standards.
- Identify and propose solutions to reduce costs within your area of responsibility.
- Participate in the implementation and maintenance of Lean standards.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement projects (Business Excellence).
What We're Looking For
- Minimum secondary technical education in mechanical or electrical field; 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Desirable knowledge of English.
