About the Role As a Relief Operator in Production at Ball's Belgrade factory, you will participate in and support the overall business plan and factory goals, ensuring production lines operate safely, with quality and efficiency, and collaborating with the team to drive continuous improvement. What You'll Do
- Ensure achievement of the factory's business objectives within the production department while following all procedures, quality, safety, and environmental rules.
- Operate, adjust, maintain, and care for machines and equipment so cans production runs within safety, quality, performance, and reliability parameters.
- Monitor, analyze, and record production and machine parameters with a focus on quality, scrap, and efficiency.
- Participate in regular and unscheduled maintenance and repairs across the production process; troubleshoot downtime and fix faults; propose corrective actions to improve processes.
- Inform supervisors about interventions requiring stopping production or changing parameters and report when interventions are completed.
- Report on your work according to departmental procedures; communicate events to the team and highlight corrective actions.
- Support all team members according to supervisor's instructions; regularly check the quality of your work.
- Keep workspace, machines, and equipment clean and maintain hygiene standards; identify and propose cost-reduction ideas within your area.
- Participate in implementing and maintaining Lean standards; contribute to continuous improvement projects.
- Provide assistance on projects and Business Excellence initiatives. What We're Looking For
- Minimum secondary education in mechanical or electrical trades.
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- English language knowledge is preferred. Nice to Have
