What you’ll do

• Support reliability and maintenance teams in identifying equipment failures, tracking downtime, and assisting with root cause analysis (RCA) activities.

• Analyze maintenance data, work order history, and equipment performance trends to help improve asset reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.

• Participate in preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities while learning maintenance best practices and safety procedures.

• Assist with continuous improvement projects, including spare parts optimization, maintenance planning, and reliability initiatives.

• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to support equipment inspections, documentation updates, and process improvements.

• What makes you a good fit

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Strong interest in maintenance, reliability, manufacturing, or industrial operations.

• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable analyzing data and trends.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work in a team environment.

• Experience with maintenance systems (SAP, CMMS), AutoCAD, Power BI, or reliability concepts is a plus, but not required.

• Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and follow all safety requirements.

• This internship is NOT eligible for a housing stipend or relocation support.

• This internship has a duration of January 11th - August 13th

• Recruitment for our 2027 internships starts in September 2026 and runs through early March 2027 or until all our positions are filled.

• The salary for this role is $22-$27/hour. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range. This salary range may also be modified in the future.
