About the Role
Game Loft is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Release Engineer to join our Barcelona team on a permanent contract. You’ll own release processes across multiple environments, coordinating with development, QA, and operations to ensure smooth, timely software deliveries. This hybrid role is based in Barcelona and offers the opportunity to work with bold and talented people.
What You'll Do
- Own and optimize end-to-end release processes, including CI/CD pipelines, build, packaging, and versioning across environments.
- Coordinate releases with development, QA, operations to ensure on-time deployment and rollback readiness.
- Create, maintain, and communicate release notes, deployment plans, and environment configurations.
- Monitor release metrics and drive continuous improvements to tooling and automation for faster, safer deployments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate workflows and improve release efficiency.
- What We're Looking For
- Mid-Senior level experience in release engineering, DevOps, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD, build systems, version control (Git), artifact management, and deployment automation.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work in a hybrid Barcelona-based team.
- Problem-solving mindset and a passion for delivering high-quality software releases.
