Relationship Officer

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, customer-focused, and results-driven Relationship Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers while identifying opportunities to grow the organization’s customer base and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and potential clients.
• Understand customers’ needs and recommend suitable products and services.
• Achieve assigned sales, revenue, and customer acquisition targets.
• Follow up with prospects and existing customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests professionally and promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and business activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent service delivery.
• Prepare regular reports on sales activities, customer relationships, and business development.
• Stay informed about company products, services, market trends, and competitors.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in relationship management, sales, customer service, banking, or a related role.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer-service and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates with experience in financial services, banking, fintech, or insurance will be an advantage.
