About the Role We are seeking a Part-Time Rehabilitation Counselor IV to provide support, education, counseling, and guidance to children or adolescents identified with mental health or developmental disabilities. This role focuses on direct client work, collaboration with families and care teams, and helping clients build therapeutic skills and independence. What You'll Do
- Provide growth and development support for the child/adolescent and contribute to the development of therapeutic support skills.
- Deliver one-on-one behavioral interventions in home, school, or community settings in accordance with the Treatment Plan.
- Participate in developing goals to be included in the Individualized Service Plan (ISP). What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services/Social Services, Healthcare, or related field; at least 1 year of direct work with children; or a high school diploma/GED with 12 behavioral health college credits and at least 2 years of direct experience in a human services field.
- Experience in residential or other services for children with MR/MH preferred.
- Strong communication and counseling skills; ability to work independently and within a team.
- Proficiency in EHR, Outlook, MS Word and Excel; fee-for-service experience and ability to maintain daily productivity using an Electronic Health Record.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Physical requirements: frequent talking/listening; ability to lift, carry, kneel, reach, bend; may involve crisis intervention. Nice to Have
