Regulatory Guidance Specialist Japan
Work within established regulatory and knowledge management systems to deliver defined results in the area of regulatory guidance and product stewardship. Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day interactions with internal stakeholders (e.g. Product Stewardship, R&D, Sales) and external partners (e.g. customers, authorities), ensuring alignment with defined regulatory processes and policies. Identify gaps in regulatory processes, systems, and data, and support the development and implementation of improvements under guidance. Support the development, maintenance, and execution of procedures related to regulatory compliance, customer communication, and product stewardship activities. Provide regulatory guidance and services that meet customer and business needs by selecting appropriate approaches within established systems and standards. Execute small to medium-sized regulatory and compliance-related projects (e.g. coordinate new chemical substance notifications, data system improvements, customer documentation updates) within defined frameworks. Ensure compliance of products with Japanese and relevant international regulations by evaluating product composition and regulatory requirements. Maintain regulatory data and documentation (e.g., chemSHERPA) and contribute to global data quality and consistency.
