Job title: Registry Clerk
About the Role The Department of Communications and Digital Technologies is offering a Registry Clerk position to gain experience in an administrative environment. The role provides essential administrative support to the executive authority on Parliament/legislature and Cabinet/executive council matters.
What You'll Do
- Render general clerical support services, including registering, stamping, sorting and distribution of incoming and outgoing documents and mail.
- Open new files and register them in the Register of Files Opened; close files and register them in accordance with the registry procedure manual and file plan.
- Replace worn-out file covers as required.
- Complete control sheets, report files due for disposal, and record all documents to be scanned in the Register of Scanned Documents.
- Retrieve, issue, receive files, photocopy and scan records as requested.
- Arrange and pack records per transfer list and conduct logistical arrangements for transferring archival records.
- Drive change, support operational excellence and manage compliance.
What We're Looking For
- National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
- No work experience required
- Diploma / Degree will be advantageous
- Skills: Basic job knowledge; Communication (verbal and written); Interpersonal relations; Flexibility; Planning and organizing

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: R237 453 per annum (Level 05)
