About the Role The Department of Land Reform and Rural Development invites unemployed youth to apply for entry level Government positions in the Office of The Chief Registrar of Deeds (Gauteng - Pretoria) and in North West (Mmabatho). Multiple roles are available, including Registry Clerk, Finance Clerk and Human Resource Clerk, all at entry level (Level 05). What You'll Do
- Registry Clerk (Gauteng) duties: Manage operations to achieve planned outcomes; provide registry counter services; attend to clients; handle inquiries; receive and register mail/files; handle correspondence; file and retrieve documents; maintain filing/record management; operate office machines; frank mail and manage remittance records; perform spot checks on post; support post delivery; maintain remittance and related registers.
- Finance Clerk duties: Render financial accounting transactions; process invoices and payments; maintain filing; handle cash collection; support salary administration; process salary advices; maintain debtors/creditors records; process electronic banking; render budget support and variance analysis.
- Human Resource Clerk duties: Implement HR administration practices; recruitment and selection processes and related activities; manage conditions of service (leave, housing, medical, etc.); performance management; termination of service; respond to HR enquiries.
- Registry Clerk (Mmabatho) duties: Provide registry counter services; attend to clients; handle mail and correspondence; file management; register and dispatch mail; maintain registry notices and filing systems; manage document retrieval and storage. What We're Looking For
- Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification; no experience required for all listed roles.
- Knowledge of registry duties, data capture, and computer operations; understanding of Public Service framework; storage and retrieval procedures; planning, organization; computer literacy; good verbal and written communication; interpersonal relations; flexibility and teamwork.
- For Finance Clerk: basic knowledge of financial functions, PFMA/DORA/PSA/PSR/PPPFA and financial systems (PERSAL, BAS, LOGIS).
- For HR Clerk: knowledge of registry-related duties and Public Service framework; planning and organization; computer literacy; communication; interpersonal skills. Nice to Have

- Salary: R228,321 per annum (Level 05) for all listed roles.
