About the role
Yonda Tax automates indirect tax return processing and submission across the US, Canada, Europe, and Australia. As we register clients in new states and jurisdictions, this role owns getting those registrations across the line and keeping existing ones in good standing with the relevant tax offices.
It's an administrative role that requires real judgment. You'll be on the phone with tax offices regularly, and need to know when to push back on information that doesn't match your experience versus when to accept it and escalate internally.
You'll work closely with our Support team and Customer Success Managers, picking up registration escalations and helping field client questions
What you'll do

Call the IRS to obtain FEINs for new registrations

Follow up with tax offices on delayed or stuck registrations

Action new registrations end-to-end

Monitor the registrations inbox and respond to tax office correspondence

Resolve Intercom tickets escalated by CSMs on registration issues

Field client questions from upselling outreach, escalating where needed

Use the admin portal's filters to self-manage outstanding work

Follow and give feedback on internal registration guides

What we're looking for

Background in a client facing role in a regulated environment

Confident and comfortable communication with stakeholders

Strong understanding of escalations protocols within support functions

Ability and desire to learn and apply knowledge about Yonda and our product line to your role

Comfortable navigating admin portals

Strong written communication clear enough for tax office and client correspondence
