About the position
Registration Officer - Authorised Persons are experienced and qualified educators who conduct assessments of applications for home schooling registration in the child’s home. The Registration Officer (AP)’s assessment considers relevant legislation and the applicant’s compliance with the Guidelines for Home Schooling Registration in NSW (and any subsequent requirements that may replace these Guidelines). Registration Officer (AP) provide reports and recommendations to the Department of Education relating to applications for home schooling registration.
Please note that this position will involve travel, including the use of pool vehicles and visits to family homes to assess home schooling educational plans, and the home learning environment. Successful candidates will be allocated to and expected to work from education offices. The department’s Flexible Work Agreement applies.
