About the Role Office of the Chief Justice (OCJ) invites unemployed youth to apply for entry-level Government positions. The Registrar’s Clerk role sits in the Land Court in Randburg and focuses on registry and case management to support court processes. What You'll Do

  • Register and allocate case numbers to pleadings and court documents.
  • Ensure files have been served to all parties and update service returns/proof of service.
  • Draw up files for litigants/attorneys and maintain case records.
  • Update and retrieve files, respond to queries from parties and the public.
  • Maintain and keep registers for filing and archiving; assist with case management tasks and set down notices.
  • Implement case management practices, prepare movement sheets, and assist with leave and attendance processes.
  • Ensure compliance with telephone prescripts and relevant policies; support HR/compliance activities as applicable. What We're Looking For
  • Grade 12/Senior Certificate; no experience required.
  • Advantageous: a valid driver’s license.
  • Knowledge of registry processes, filing systems, mail procedures, and storage/retrieval procedures; understanding of legislative frameworks governing the Public Service, Batho Pele Principles, PAIA, and National Archives.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office); strong written and verbal communication; numeracy and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, be accurate, work independently and as part of a team, and maintain attention to detail. Nice to Have
  • Valid driver’s license and any general administrative or court-related experience as an added advantage. Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: R237,453 – R279,708 per annum (Level 5).
