About this role
Qualifications
- Current Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
- 5+ years of veterinary experience preferred.
- Strong surgical skills, including surgical preparation and assisting.
- Experience with anesthesia induction, intubation, monitoring, and recovery.
- Dentistry experience, including scaling and polishing, preferred.
- Strong animal handling and restraint skills with knowledge of clinical procedures.
- Proficiency in venipuncture, blood draws, IV catheter placement, medication administration, and vaccines.
- Experience with digital radiology, including proper patient positioning.
- Ability to obtain accurate medical histories and maintain detailed patient records.
- Excellent client communication, education, organization, and teamwork skills.
