Job Description
Cypresshill Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse/Midwife (RN/RM) to join our dedicated healthcare team.
In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, providing comprehensive support to mothers throughout their pregnancy and childbirth journey, and assisting with essential clinical procedures.
Your expertise will ensure accurate patient record maintenance, effective prenatal and postnatal care, and vigilant monitoring of labor and patient conditions. You will also play a key role in identifying high-risk pregnancies, administering medications, and ordering necessary diagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide prenatal and postnatal care, including screening tests.
- Monitor labour and advise mothers on pain management options.
- Identify high-risk pregnancies and refer patients to relevant specialists.
- Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Record vital signs and monitor changes in patient conditions.
- Order diagnostic and clinical tests.
- Provide guidance and training to junior colleagues.
Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years’ relevant work experience.

Relevant nursing and midwifery qualifications.

Ability to monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and maintain accurate medical records.
