About the Role
Registered Nurse in the Surgical Stepdown unit at Evanston Hospital. You will provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department, using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care while maintaining regulatory compliance. You will guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel and contribute to safety and high-quality patient experiences.
What You'll Do
- Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
- Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
- Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
- What We're Looking For
- BSN degree preferred.
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
- 1 year experience preferred.
- Nice to Have
- Prior experience in a Surgical Stepdown unit (preferred).
- Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $36.00 - $55.80.
- Premium pay such as shift, on call, holiday and more based on job (For eligible positions).
