About the Role Logan Health Medical Center is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the LDRP team in Kalispell, MT. The RN will care for antepartum, laboring, and postpartum mothers and their newborns, and will have the opportunity to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections with support from OB surgical technicians. This role provides primary patient care, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation. What You'll Do

  • Provide care for antepartum, laboring, and postpartum mothers and their newborns.
  • Learn to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections with the support of department-specific OB surgical technicians.
  • Provide primary care to patients, including assessment, treatment, care planning, and medical care evaluation.
  • Transcribe and implement provider orders accurately; respond to changing workloads and patient conditions.
  • Maintain infection control procedures per policy and department protocols. What We're Looking For
  • Montana RN license or multi-state compact license with authorization to practice in Montana; required.
  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar position preferred; experience in the LDRP/OB/OR environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology, and principles of professional nursing practice.
  • Healthcare Provider (HCP) CPR and/or BLS certification required.
  • Additional certifications may be required as applicable to assigned area(s).
  • Understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality laws; knowledge of OSHA rules and handling of hazardous materials.
  • Knowledge of equipment, supplies, and instruments used in a medical setting; routine clinical laboratory methods; universal precautions.
  • Excellent organizational, detail-oriented, self-starter, critical thinking, prioritization, and ability to work in a team or independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact and professionalism. Nice to Have
