About the Role The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient care within Eisenhower Health’s Perianesthesia - Main Surgery department. You will collaborate with patients, families, peers, physicians and the health care team to assess needs, plan and evaluate care, and uphold professional accountability and growth. What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care to perianesthesia and main surgery patients, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with patients, families, peers, physicians and other members of the health care team to deliver high-quality care.
- Demonstrate leadership, professional accountability and ongoing learning consistent with hospital policies and standards. What We're Looking For
- Education: BSN or Master’s degree in Nursing, or enrollment in an RN-BSN or RN-MSN program within 1 year of hire with completion within 5 years if hired after July 1, 2012.
- Licensure/Certification: California RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required in all departments on hire; Additional certifications as outlined by department (e.g., ACLS).
- Demonstrated ability to assess patient needs, develop care plans and work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to professional accountability, growth and adherence to hospital philosophy and policies. Nice to Have
- ACLS certification and any additional department-specific certifications as applicable. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $43.38 - $70.17 per hour.
- Sign-On Bonus Eligible.
- Schedule: Full-time, Day shift; 12-hour shifts.
