About the Role Provides direct patient care in the Infusion Center (Infectious Disease) and collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians, and other health care team members to deliver individualized care. Demonstrates leadership and professional accountability in alignment with hospital philosophy, policies, procedures, and standards.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care to patients in the Infusion Center (Infectious Disease).
- Assess patients' needs, plan, implement, and evaluate care based on growth and development, patient needs, and hospital nursing standards.
- Collaborate with patients, families, peers, physicians, and other health care team members to coordinate care.
- Demonstrate leadership and commitment to professional accountability and growth.
- Adhere to department-specific guidelines and ensure safe, evidence-based practice.
What We're Looking For
- Education: BSN or MSN or enrollment in an RN-BSN or RN-MSN program within 1 year of hire and completion within 5 years if hired after July 1, 2012.
- Licensure/Certification: California RN licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required upon hire. ACLS required in designated departments (ER, ICU, Vascular, Renker Pavilion 1E, EDOC Pain Management locations, Surgery units, Cardiology, Radiology, Interventional Radiology, GI Lab, Mirage Endoscopy). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from AHA may be required for pediatric areas; Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) certification for neonatal units; Basic/Intermediate/Advanced fetal monitoring where applicable; STABLE course completion within 30 days of hire.
- Additional certifications may be required as outlined based on assigned department (e.g., AWHONN certification if assigned to cost center 6400 2N LDRP as Labor RN).
Nice to Have
- STABLE course completion within 30 days of hire.
- Familiarity with fetal monitoring levels and related certifications where applicable.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $60.00 per hour (hourly).
- Schedule: Per Diem, Part-time; Day shift; Shift Hours: 8 per day.
- Location: Eisenhower Medical Center; onsite role in Rancho Mirage, CA.
