About the Role Join Eisenhower Health as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Perianesthesia - EDOSC area. This role delivers direct patient care, collaborates with patients, families, peers and physicians, and supports leadership and professional accountability within the nursing team. The nurse uses clinical expertise to assess needs, plan care, implement interventions, and evaluate outcomes in alignment with hospital policies and standards.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care and collaborate with the health care team in the Perianesthesia - EDOSC area to meet patient needs.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on growth/development, hospital philosophy, policies, and standards.
- Demonstrate leadership and professional accountability; participate in quality improvement and professional development.
- Maintain required licensure and certifications (BLS upon hire; ACLS, PALS, NRP, AWHONN, STABLE as required by department) and keep up-to-date with continuing education.
What We're Looking For
- California Registered Nurse (RN) license and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association; additional certifications per department (ACLS upon hire for certain units; PALS; NRP; AWHONN; STABLE).
- Education: BSN or MSN or enrollment in RN-BSN or RN-MSN within one year of hire and completion within five years of hire if hired after July 1, 2012.
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients and families.
- Commitment to meeting hospital policies and standards and ongoing professional development.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $43.38 - $70.17 per hour. Sign-On Bonus Eligible. Hours: 40 per week; Schedule: Full Time.
