Job title: Registered Nurse (RN)
About the Role Provides direct patient care, collaborates with patients, families, peers, physicians and other members of the health care team in the delivery of health care services to the specific patient population. Assesses patient's needs, plans care, implements and evaluates patient care in accordance with the patient’s needs based on the nurse’s knowledge of growth/development, the hospital and nursing philosophy, policies/procedures and standards. Demonstrates leadership skills and a commitment to professional accountability and growth.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care and collaborate with the health care team in the delivery of care for Medical Surgical 2S patients.
- Assess patient needs, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in accordance with the patient’s needs and hospital/nursing standards.
- Demonstrate leadership, professional accountability, and growth.
What We're Looking For
- Education: BSN or MSN or enrollment in an RN-BSN or RN-MSN program within one year of hire and completion within five years if hired after July 1, 2012.
- Licensure/Certification: California RN licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association (AHA) required in all departments upon hire; Additional certifications required based on assigned department (e.g., ACLS, PALS, NRP) as outlined.
- Department-specific certifications and timelines as listed (ER, ICU, Vascular, Perianesthesia, Cardiology Lab, Radiology, etc.).
- Additional requirements may include fetal monitoring competencies and STABLE per role.
Compensation & Benefits
- Sign On Bonus Eligible. Salary range: $43.38 - $70.17 per hour. Hours: 36 per week; Schedule: Full Time; Shift: 12 Hour.
