About this role
About the Role The Registered Nurse (RN) 2 provides nursing care for a population-specific patient group in the Skilled and Restorative Care Unit, from simple to complex cases with multi-system issues, in a safe and therapeutic environment. The RN assesses data, plans and evaluates care, and collaborates with the care team while adhering to specialty and organizational standards. The RN may supervise Licensed Nursing Assistants and unlicensed personnel and reports to the Director and/or Nurse Manager.
What You'll Do
- Assess patients and develop, implement and revise plans of care based on history and physical assessment.
- Gather data and interpret information to meet age-specific patient needs.
- Document care provided and progress toward outcomes.
- Direct and supervise others in delegated nursing activities.
