About the Role Join Endeavor Health as a Per Diem Registered Nurse in Pediatrics Acute Care Center for night shifts. You will assess patients, collect health data, coordinate care with the care team, and educate patients and families to support safe, timely interventions. What You'll Do
- Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers.
- Coordinates patient plan of care to ensure interventions are safe, timely, and appropriate.
- Communicates clearly with patients, families and colleagues in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Individualizes patient and family teaching based on thorough assessment to meet learning needs.
- Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice through quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations. What We're Looking For
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
- Willingness to work nights with rotating weekends and holidays on a per diem basis. Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour.
