About the Role Join Endeavor Health as a Registered Nurse - OR for the Evening shift in Arlington Heights. You will deliver perioperative nursing care using the nursing process, collaborate with the surgical team, and participate in on-call, weekend and holiday coverage. This role requires adherence to physician orders, hospital policies, and professional nursing standards. What You'll Do
- Provide pre- and post-operative nursing care and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient patient flow.
- Utilize the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and revise plans as indicated.
- Follow physician orders and established hospital/department policies; ensure compliance with the Illinois Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
- Document patient status, communicate changes to the care team, and participate in on-call, weekend and holiday schedules as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Education: Successful completion of an Associate’s degree (ASN) or BSN from an accredited nursing program. Nurses with ASN hired/rehired on or after May 1, 2014 must obtain BSN within three years of start date to remain employed.
- Licensure: Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
- Certification: Current CPR/BLS certification through the American Heart Association. Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly rate: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour
