About the Role The Registered Nurse – Oncology (Nights) at Evanston Hospital is a full-time clinical role focused on providing high-quality oncology nursing care during night shifts. You will apply the nursing process, ensure regulatory compliance, guide unlicensed staff, and contribute to safety and a positive patient experience. What You'll Do
- Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
- Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience What We're Looking For
- BSN degree preferred
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois required
- BLS/CPR certification required. Must obtain ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate within nine months of hire
- 1 year experience preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour
- Premium pay such as shift, on call, holiday and more based on an employee’s job
