About the Role Inpatient Psychiatric Nurses care for clients living with mental illness and/or substance use disorders requiring acute treatment, including involuntary hospitalization. The RN will work in the Evaluation and Treatment or Secure Withdrawal Management units at Recovery Place Kent, collaborating with the care team to provide direct patient care. What You'll Do
- Provide nursing assessment and continuous monitoring of patients
- Administer medications and monitor responses
- De-escalate crises and manage behavioral situations
- Document care plans, assessments, and treatments
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to coordinate care
- Support patients in treatment and recovery goals What We're Looking For
- Washington RN license
- BLS and CPI (CPI within 6 months) required
- 1+ year of psychiatric nursing experience
- Ability to perform comprehensive assessments, medication management, wound care, de-escalation, and documentation
