About the Role
Cape Fox Concentric Methods, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse ICU to provide full-time care to military personnel at Eglin AFB, FL (96th Medical Group campus). This role centers on delivering high-quality critical care and collaborating with a diverse healthcare team within DoD settings.
What You'll Do

Perform critical care duties including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating age-specific nursing care across all ages.

Administer medications (monitor/mix, titrate), wound care, and various personalized interventions.

Recognize dysrhythmias, interpret ABGs and hemodynamic data, assist with synchronized cardioversion, conduct emergency defibrillation, administer thrombolytics, and manage postoperative recovery and discharge within established criteria.

Conduct arterial punctures and draw blood from invasive lines; assist with temporary pacemaker insertion and apply noninvasive external pacemaker; obtain hemodynamic variables.

Interpret lab values; care for patients with Swan-Ganz catheters, arterial lines, mechanical ventilators; provide inhalation therapy with appropriate medications.

Perform physical exams and health histories; recognize adverse signs, respond to emergencies, and initiate life-saving measures in the absence of a physician.

Communicate and collaborate with a diverse healthcare team; provide health promotion, counseling, and education to patients and families.

Maintain records, file patient charts, perform basic secretarial tasks, handle telephone calls and correspondence; liaise between physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other medical staff.

Use basic computer skills to enter patient data and retrieve information from DoD sites.

Schedule specifics: three 12-hour shifts one week and four the next, with weekends/holidays; four months on days and four months on nights; schedules may vary to meet demand.

What We're Looking For
-
At least two (2) years of RN experience, with at least one (1) year in an ICU setting with four or more beds; one year of ICU experience must have occurred within the last three years.

Strong critical care skills and proficiency with invasive monitoring, ventilators, arterial lines, and dysrhythmia recognition; comfortable working in a DoD healthcare environment and with GENESIS EHR.

Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and provide life-saving measures in the absence of a physician.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills; willingness to work a rotating schedule including days/nights and weekends/holidays.

Compensation & Benefits

Total hourly pay: $44.42 (base $39.33 plus $5.09 Health & Welfare for up to 40 hours per week per SCLS regulations).
