About the Role Registered Nurse – Emergency Department – Night at Endeavor Health's Elmhurst Main Hospital. This full-time ED night shift position provides professional nursing care and collaborates with the care team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care. What You'll Do
- Provide nursing care in accordance with Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Employ critical thinking, assess patient condition, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document observations.
- Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
- Function as a team member to achieve unit goals; adapt duties by assigned unit/shift. What We're Looking For
- Education: Associates Degree or higher in Nursing; if ADN is highest degree, must obtain Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of start date.
- Experience: 1+ year(s) in the Emergency Department.
- Licensure/Certifications: Current State of Illinois RN license; CPR certification (AHA or ARC); ACLS within 3 months of start; PALS within 3 months; NIHSS within 3 months. Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $36.00 - $55.80/hour
