About the Role The Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Night) provides professional nursing care in the ED at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This full-time night shift (7:00 pm - 7:30 am) position offers 36 hours per week with every third weekend and rotating holidays, and includes a $20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates with ED experience. What You'll Do
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies and procedures.
- Assess patients’ conditions, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record pertinent observations.
- Delegate appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and function as a team member to meet unit goals. What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing; If an associate degree in nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a BSN within five years of position start date.
- License: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure.
- Certification: Current CPR Certification (AHA or ARC); ACLS within three months of start; PALS within three months; NIHSS within three months.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years ED experience required; Must be hired after 2026-06-15 and accept offer by 2026-07-31. Compensation & Benefits
