Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Night) in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) supports ED operations on a night shift, providing patient assessment, data collection, and coordination of the plan of care to ensure safe, timely interventions. Shift: 7pm-7:30pm with every other weekend.
What You'll Do
- Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers; coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, families, and care teams in person, on the phone and in writing.
- Individualizes patient and family teaching based on thorough assessment to meet learning needs.
