Job title: Registered Nurse-Emergency Department-Night
Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Night) in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role (36 hours/week) supports ED operations on a night shift, providing patient assessment, data collection, and coordination of the plan of care to ensure safe, timely interventions. Shift: 7pm-7:30pm with every other weekend.
What You'll Do
- Provides patient assessment and collection of health data involving patient, family and other health care providers; coordinates patient plan of care to assure interventions are safe, timely and appropriate.
- Communicates clearly and effectively with patients, families, and care teams in person, on the phone and in writing.
- Individualizes patient and family teaching based on thorough assessment to meet learning needs.
- Participates in evaluating quality and effectiveness of nursing practice via quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintains professional knowledge in current nursing practice standards, laws and regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Successful completion of an Associate's degree or BSN from an accredited nursing school.
- Current licensure to practice nursing in the State of Illinois.
- Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour (USD)
