About the Role
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse provides direct patient care across Endeavor Health's multiple campuses, utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care. This role supports safe, high-quality patient outcomes and collaborates with unlicensed staff.
What You'll Do
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care.
- Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department.
- Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice.
- Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care.
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care.
- Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high-quality patient experience.
What We're Looking For
- IL Nursing Licensure (current) required.
- BSN degree preferred.
- BLS/CPR certification through AHA required.
- 1 year of current hospital nursing experience required; ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNS, TNCC, ECRN certifications/ training requested where applicable.
Nice to Have
