About the Role The Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Evening) in Plainfield, IL provides professional nursing care in the ED during the evening shift, collaborating with the care team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care. What You'll Do
- Provide professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Assess patients, recognize changes, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and document pertinent observations
- Delegate appropriate tasks to other staff and function as a team member to meet unit goals
- Adapt to unit-specific duties as assigned during the shift What We're Looking For
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Nursing; if ADN, must obtain BSN within five years of start date
- License: Current State of Illinois RN licensure
- Certification: CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross), ACLS within three months, PALS within three months, NIHSS within three months
- Shift: Evening, 3:00pm–3:30am; full-time 36 hours/week; every third weekend and rotating holidays
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced ED Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour
