Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Job Overview
Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult and paediatric patients in our 24-hour Accident & Emergency unit, working alongside emergency physicians to triage, stabilise and monitor critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Triage and assess patients on arrival using the hospital's emergency severity index
- Administer medications, IV therapy and emergency interventions as prescribed
- Monitor vital signs and escalate deteriorating patients promptly
- Maintain accurate nursing documentation in the electronic health record
- Support patient families with clear, compassionate communication
Qualifications and Experience

B.NSc or RN/RM certification from a recognised institution

Current licence with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN)

Minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience, ideally in A&E or ICU

Valid BLS certification; ACLS is an advantage
