About this role

About the Role The Elliot VNA is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality in-home care for patients in Manchester and southern New Hampshire. This Baylor Opportunity is a weekend position (Friday–Sunday, three 10-hour shifts) with an 8-hour bonus, totaling 38 hours per week.

The role supports patients recovering from surgery or managing life-limiting illnesses and disabilities, and operates within the Elliot Hospital interprofessional practice model and relevant nursing standards. What You'll Do

  • Deliver care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex using the nursing process, creating a therapeutic and caring environment.
  • Practice in accordance with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model, the ANA Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, the Nursing Code of Ethics, and relevant specialty standards.
  • Embrace change to support optimal patient outcomes and a strong professional practice environment.
  • Collaborate with patients and families on goal setting and planning; communicate the plan of care for input and coordinate with colleagues to ensure seamless care across shifts.
  • Demonstrate accountability for ongoing professional growth, successful unit operations, and the ability to recognize and manage rapidly changing situations.
  • Utilize current evidence and standards to guide practice, applying clinical decision-making and critical thinking. What We're Looking For
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
  • Licensure: New Hampshire Registered Nurse or Compact State RN license.
  • Technical Certification: Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation and maintain during employment.
  • Professional Certification: Nurses are expected to pursue professional certification upon eligibility or within three years of entering the specialty practice. Nice to Have
  • BSN preferred.
