About the Role The Perioperative Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients during the perioperative period. The role emphasizes patient advocacy and safety within the surgical environment, collaborating with the surgical team to complete procedures and potentially leading orientation and educational activities. What You'll Do
- Provide direct perioperative care across pediatric to geriatric populations
- Act as patient advocate and assess for safety concerns in the surgical environment
- Collaborate with the surgical team to facilitate successful procedures
- May assume responsibility for orienting new staff, leading educational programs, and securing supplies and equipment What We're Looking For
- Education: Graduate of a state approved school of nursing; BSN preferred
- Licensure/Certification: IL RN License, CPR, BLS (American Heart Association)
- Experience: 2+ years RN experience in perioperative care preferred
- Basic computer skills Nice to Have

- Salary: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour
