About the Role The Registered Nurse on the Cardiac/Stroke Day shift at Evanston Hospital provides direct nursing care to patients in the cardiac and stroke programs. This full-time role (36 hours/week) includes 7:00am-7:30pm shifts with rotating weekends. The nurse utilizes the nursing process, maintains regulatory compliance, and leads assigned unlicensed staff to deliver high-quality patient care and safety. What You'll Do
- Provide nursing care to all patient populations in the department
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Maintain regulatory compliance in individual practice
- Assume responsibility, accountability and authority for outcomes of nursing care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed nursing personnel in delivering patient care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience What We're Looking For
- Education: BSN degree preferred
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience: 1 year experience preferred Nice to Have
- Cardiac/Stroke nursing experience preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $36.00 - $55.80 per hour
