About the Role The Registered Nurse on the Cardiac Medical Telemetry unit at Highland Park Hospital provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care during the Night shift (7pm–7:30am) on a part-time basis. The role uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care, guides unlicensed assistive personnel, and collaborates with the healthcare team to promote optimal patient outcomes and a high-quality experience. What You'll Do
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a cardiac telemetry unit.
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience. What We're Looking For
- Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited nursing program; BSN strongly preferred.
- BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required.
- Prior nursing experience or CNA experience (preferred for new graduates). Nice to Have
- BSN strongly preferred. Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay range: $36.00 - $55.80
