Job Summary
- The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care to patients at our specialist healthcare facility.
- The role focuses on patient assessment, monitoring vital signs, administering prescribed medications, assisting doctors during consultations and ENT-related procedures, maintaining accurate clinical records, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention and control standards.
- The successful candidate will work closely with the medical team to promote patient safety, support effective treatment outcomes, and deliver a positive patient experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care to patients in accordance with established clinical standards.
- Assess patients' health conditions, monitor vital signs, and promptly report significant changes to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Assist doctors and other healthcare professionals during consultations, examinations, and ENT-related medical procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in line with medical instructions and established protocols.
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, providing appropriate support before, during, and after treatment.
- Monitor patients' progress, document observations, and promptly escalate medical concerns when necessary.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential patient records and nursing documentation.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication use, recovery, and general healthcare practices.
- Implement infection prevention and control measures, including proper hygiene, sterilisation, and safe handling of medical equipment.
- Ensure that nursing equipment, treatment areas, and clinical supplies are properly maintained and readily available.
- Support efficient patient flow and contribute to a positive patient experience.
- Work collaboratively with doctors, nurses, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective service delivery.
- Adhere to professional nursing ethics, patient confidentiality requirements, hospital policies, and applicable healthcare regulations.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must have 1–3 years of post-qualification nursing experience.
- Must possess a recognised nursing qualification and be a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Must be duly registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (NMCN).
- Must possess a valid and current practising licence.
- Previous experience working in a hospital, specialist clinic, outpatient department, or ENT facility will be an added advantage.
- Must possess sound clinical knowledge and the ability to deliver quality patient care.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are essential.
- Must demonstrate compassion, professionalism, integrity, attention to detail, and a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to remain calm, organised, and effective in a busy clinical environment.
- Must be willing to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals and follow established clinical procedures.

Salary
N180,000 – N200,000 monthly.
