About the Role
A Registered Dietitian at Greenville Hospital provides direct patient care using the Nutrition Care Process (NCP), including nutrition assessment, diagnosis, intervention (nutrition prescription/MNT), monitoring and counseling for inpatient and outpatient populations. This role collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care and supports department metrics. What You'll Do

Perform Nutrition Care Process and Nutrition Focused Physical Exam as appropriate for high quality patient care.

Complete nutrition assessments, determine nutrition diagnoses, develop nutrition-focused interventions (including nutrition prescriptions) and coordinate Medical Nutrition Therapy for patients.

Monitor and evaluate patient progress; document and maintain records per SOPs, regulations, and organizational policies.

Precept and teach dietetic interns and other students (e.g., medical students).

Collaborate with Manager, Nutrition Services and the interdisciplinary team; advocate for patient care and nutrition-focused culture.

Coordinate services related to Medical Nutrition Therapy and contribute to department and organizational metrics.

May engage in communications with the media on issues related to the focus area or other advanced clinical areas as appropriate. What We're Looking For

Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field; licensure/certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) per CDR.

RD (CDR) certification with ability to obtain/maintain within 180 days.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or Red Cross.

Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams; adherence to dietetics professional ethics. Nice to Have
