About the Role The Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist supports physicians in performing cardiovascular procedures in the Mary Immaculate Hospital Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology Lab. You will participate in scrub, monitor, and circulator roles, analyze procedural data, and provide care to patients across acuity levels while upholding department policies and quality improvement initiatives. What You'll Do
- Assist physicians in performance of all cardiovascular procedures, demonstrating competency in scrub, monitor and circulating roles.
- Analyze and interpret collected procedural data; provide effective patient care at all acuity levels.
- Precept new employees and students; maintain inventory and ensure accurate procedure charges.
- Perform procedures per protocol; participate in quality assurance and performance improvement programs; comply with policies.
- Ensure equitable participation in call coverage. What We're Looking For
- Education: High School Diploma (required).
- Licensure & Certifications: BLS; ACLS or PALS (ACLS or PALS required based on specialty; ACLS or PALS preferred at hire); Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (required).
- Experience: None required.
- Skills & Abilities: patient care; cardiovascular; high-technology equipment; image acquisition; image processing; physiologic data acquisition. Nice to Have
- PALS or ACLS certification may be preferred at hire (per specialty). Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $33.31 - $51.63 per hour.
